Sherilyn Fenn (born 'Sheryl Ann Fenn' February 1, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan) is a Hollywood actress. Her career began inauspiciously with a number of B-movies in including Zombie High (1987) and Two Moon Junction (1988). Noteriety came when she was cast by
David Lynch as the sultry Audrey Horne in Twin Peaks
. Lynch also gave her a memorable cameo as a woman involved in a car accident in Wild at Heart, and she appeared in
Gary Sinise's film adaptation of Of Mice and Men (1992)
. Unfortunately, her next movie was the infamously bad Boxing Helena, directed by Lynch's daughter Jennifer, in which Fenn played a role turned down by
Kim Basinger. Following that, she has found consistent work with roles in limited-release and TV movies, and had some success with a return to series television in Showtime's
Rude Awakening (1998-2001).
