Russell Wong (王盛德, pinyin: Wáng Shèngdé) is a Hollywood actor and photographer. Born on March 1, 1963 in Troy, New York as the fifth of seven children to William Wong, a Chinese restaurant owner from Shandong Province, China, and Connie Van Yserloo, an artist of Dutch, French and Native American descent. Russell's brother, Michael Wong, is a famous Hong Kong actor.
Russell married his long-term Chinese girlfriend Flora Cheong-Leen, a fashion designer whom he met 20 years earlier. He is also the father of a nine-year-old daughter with an African American dancer.
