Robson Green (born December 18, 1964) is a British actor who has appeared in a number of ITV television dramas, including Touching Evil
, Ain't Misbehavin'
and Soldier Soldier.
Green was born in Hexham, Northumberland. He is married to model Vanya Seager, and they have a son, Taylor Robson. In 1996, he set up an independent production company, Coastal Productions, with business partner Sandra Jobling. The company has since produced or co-produced most of Green's television work.
He had a UK number one hit with
Jerome Flynn (his co-star in
Soldier, Soldier) in 1995 with a version of
Unchained Melody, the result of a one-off performance in an episode of the drama. The two subsequently released several successful singles and albums, all re-makes of standards.
