Robert Bradley is the lead singer and main driving musical force of the band Blackwater Surprise. Before founding the band with former members of Second Self, Bradley was a street performer, singing for change.
Bradley's professional career is most notable because of his blindness (possibly caused by cataracts?) and the way in which he became involved with his current band members. They were walking from their a studio they had been recording at and heard Bradley singing on the corner. They were struck by his distinctive raspy, blues voice, and asked him to record a few songs for them; from their they formed the band.
Bradley can be seen in HBO's original movie Lackawana Blues.
