Richard McCallum (born 1952) is a film producer most famous for his work on the Star Wars prequel trilogy and special editons as well as The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
Unlike most producers, McCallum enjoys shooting on location (rather than on a soundstage) because he likes the feeling of not being in control and that anything can happen. McCallum sometimes jokes that his sole purpose in life is to make what
George Lucas wants to happen.
McCallum was born in Heidelberg, Germany and is the stepson of actor
Michael York.
