She was born in Bombay, India and at age 15 became Miss India.In 1975 she appeared in a small role in the

and Megaforce but she never really found sucess in film.Her last appearance on film and TV in an acting part was that of Indian ambassador on an episode of '.She died of a massive heart attack on August 18, 1998 in Bombay, India.
