Patrick Warburton Resources

Patrick Warburton (born 14 November, 1964) is an American actor (mostly comic) best known for his role as Elaine's boyfriend David Puddy on Seinfeld. Warburton starred in the short-lived live-action series The Tick, in the title role.

Warburton has a somewhat booming, authoritative-sounding voice, and has put it to good use voicing a lead character in Game Over, and Buzz Lightyear in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. He also voiced the role of disabled cop Joe Swanson on the FOX animated sitcom Family Guy, and the sorceress' slightly doltish assistant in Disney's The Emperor's New Groove who happens to be able to speak and understand squirrel. In Cartoon Network's The Venture Bros. he voices the Venture family's brutally effective bodyguard and former secret agent, Brock Samson. He has also appeared in The Dish as a NASA official and on NewsRadio as Jimmy James's nemesis, Johnny Johnson.

Mr. Warburton is a handsome, muscular man, and his roles (both vocal and visual) often have him playing parodies of a rather gung-ho, square-jawed, all-American type who is usually a little short on brains, but overflowing with enthusiasm (or what his characters many times see as "patriotism"). His roles also often satirize his own body-builder looks and "official"-sounding voice.
