Madhuri Dixit: Biography
She married Dr. Sriram Nene in 1999.
In 2003 she starred alongside two of Bollywood's biggest stars,
Shahrukh Khan and ex-Miss Universe
Aishwarya Rai in the movie Devdas. A classic remake of star-crossed love and anguish that brought worldwide attention and was one of the many films featured in the Cannes Film Festival.
Dixit gave birth to a baby boy Areen in 2003.
Madhuri Dixit was the muse of painter M.F. Hussain. He has made paintings with her as the theme. Also she starred in his film
Gaja Gamini (2000).
She is also a four time Filmfare Award winner in the category of Best Actress. She also won the category Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Devdas in 2002 (Filmfare).
Regardless of being nominated each year as Best Actress in the decade of the 90's, she is acclaimed as a hit for her box-office records.
Her movie Hum Aapke Hain Kaun also appeared in the World's Guinness Book Of Records 1999 for being a Bollywood classic with a record of 14 songs (the highest number of songs in an Indian film ever).
Madhuri Dixit is known for her million dollar smile. She is undoubtedly the most successful actress of her time and remains one of the top actresses of today.
