Kim Zimmer (born February 2, 1955 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) is an American actress.
Zimmer is probably best known for her role as Reva Shayne Lewis on the television soap opera Guiding Light, from 1983 to 1990 and, currently, since 1995.
Her character has undergone many transformations: she has been a vixen, a manic-depressive, an Amish woman, presumed dead more than once (most recently, a clone was made from her DNA), the princess of a little-known island nation named San Cristobel, a Civil War belle, a French woman, a woman who saved illegal immigrants from certain death, a talk show host, a psychic, and last, but not least, a loving mom, not necessarily in that order. In her early days, she was a troublemaker; the episode in which she "baptized" herself the "Slut of Springfield" in a public fountain is generally regarded to be one of the best in
Guiding Light history.
In between, she played Jodie DeWitt Walker on Santa Barbara from 1992 to 1993. She also played Nola Dancy on The Doctors
and Echo DiSavoy on One Life to Live
before she got her part on Guiding Light.
