Kate Maberly (born on 14 March 1982 in Surrey, England) and is an English actress.
Her breakthrough role was that of Mary Lennox in the 1993 film, The Secret Garden at just 11 years old. Since then, she has gone on to parts alongside such established actors as Ted Danson (in Gulliver's Travels, 1996) and
Johnny Depp and
Kate Winslet (in Finding Neverland, 2004).
She showed her musical abilities as the double bass player Madeleine in The Last of the Blonde Bombshells (playing the young
Leslie Caron). In real life Kate Maberly plays the cello.
Her sister Polly Maberly is also an actress, who appeared as Kitty Bennet in the BBC's 1995 adaption of Pride and Prejudice.
