James Thomas Fallon (born September 19, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American comedian, actor and musician who is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live.
Fallon was raised in Saugerties, New York with his one year older sister Gloria and his parents, Jim and Gloria. Fallon attended St. Mary of the Snow, a parochial school and Saugerties High School. He graduated in 1992, and attended the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. Fallon majored in computer science, dropping out 15 credits shy of a degree.
From 2000 until his departure from the show in 2004, Fallon co-anchored Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" segment with
Tina Fey. He was also an impressionist, portraying
Pat O'Brien, Osama bin Laden, Jeff Zucker,
Dennis Miller, and Barry Gibb. Some famous characters he had include Joey Mack, Nick Burns, the male half of "Sully and Denise", and Jarrett from "Jarrett's Room".
