North AmericaHow about a journey to ROME, I T A L Y??? ( *** I T A L Y ***) $120
A very large room (28 sq.mt, ca. 250 sq.ft), with balcony, is available for rent in a sunny and really beautiful apartment, plenty of windows and bright and furnhished with Italian taste.
Personal full bathroom, with shower.
Internet, dishwasher, microwave, laundry are in the apartment and included in the price.
NON-SMOKERS ONLY.
Great location, safe neighborhood, 12 mins ride with the "METRO B" to go to the Ruins area of the city.
In the apartment you won't find other international tourists, but a Roman woman (me), in her 30s. I speak English fluently as I lived in the US for some years. So, if you are that kind of person who is used to enjoy a vacation interacting with locals rather than following step by step the Fodor's hints, my place is perfect for you. We will mutually enjoy the temporary sharing of the house! Extra bonus: I know both the Italian and American culture, so I might be of help with the do's and don'ts, as well as managing a trip all throughout Italy (i.e. Florence, Venice, Bellagio, etc.)
$120 per day, but the longer you stay the less you will pay.
Discounts for solo travelers.
On the other hand, if you are a person willing to live in that area of the city where all the American tourists go, you can just skip to next ad. In those touristic area you will be surrounded by people from all over the world, the rooms offered are very small and usually in overcrowded apts, and the only Italians you will meet will be the merchants, or their friends.
I don't rent my extra room for business but just every now and then for the pleasure to share my place with people from all over the world.
If you are interested, just email me telling me something about you.
