The Neighborhood: This condo is on Telegraph Hill, one of the oldest and most charming neighborhoods in San Francisco, next to the garden-like Filbert Steps, home of the Wild Parrots of documentary fame--you will definitely see them, as they love the tree outside of the living room. From here you can walk to Coit Tower (one block), North Beach (two blocks), Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, the Embarcadero and Ferry Building, and downtown.
