Andrea Anders is an American actress, best known for her role as Alex Garrett on the hit sitcom Joey on NBC. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin on 10 May, 1975. She graduated from DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin in 1993, and went on to get a bachelor degree of the fine arts from University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point in 1997. Later, she earned a master of the fine arts from Rutgers University in New Jersey in 2001. She tryed out for several Broadway plays in New York City before moving to the Los Angeles area in 2003.

, and also in the remake of the Stepford Wives movie.
